RiverTown Reindeer Race 5K
December 5, 2009
The Red Cross Rescue Racers is hosting the 3rd
running of the RiverTown Reindeer Race, a 5K race  on
December 5th along a certified course in historic downtown Conway, South Carolina. Register online at
www.rmssports.com or mail a check to American Red Cross, Reindeer Race, 2795 Pampas Dr., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Registration the day of the race will be held from 7:15-7:45 with the race beginning at 8 a.m. at the Conway Marina Park.

 ‘Train with a Purpose’ with
Red Cross Rescue Racers
The Red Cross Rescue Racer program, the official local charity training team of the Myrtle Beach Marathon,
is for individuals interested in a safe way to train to run, walk or run/walk the whole or half marathon. The 17-week training program, headed by Coach Jackie Sgambati and Team Coordinator Susan
Mungo, will begin
October 20.

In April 2009 an outbreak of human cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) was discovered in North America, and cases are being found in a growing number of states and countries. The World Health Organization has increased its alert level to reflect the spread of the outbreak, and health and government officials have been working to assess the spread and severity of this flu.
