"First Aid & CPR for Everyone"
WPDE News Channel 15 and the local American Red Cross have teamed with Ashley Furniture HomeStore to promote the "First Aid and CPR for Everyone" home tool kits.
For a $10 donation or more, you can get a kit at any of the following locations. Then, on Friday, April 18, WPDE News Channel 15 will host a day-long promotion from Ashley Furniture HomeStore locations in both Myrtle Beach and Florence. The media event will run from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

 The goal is to put 1,000 of the lifesaving kits into private homes, businesses, churches or schools while asking the community to
"GIVE BACK AND GIVE BIG" to help the local American Red Cross raise much needed funds to help local residents prevent, prepare for
& respond to disaster.

The 2008 Heroes Campaign is
Underway!
The Heroes Campaign is the largest annual fundraising campaign conducted by the local Red Cross and funds donated are used to provide services to the local community. To become a Hero, an individual, business or group commits to raising or donating $1,000 during March, which is Red Cross Month.

 Dining for the Red Cross
Divine Dining’s Ultimate California Pizza locations teamed up with the local Red Cross to raise money for the Heroes Campaign. Local public service workers, teachers and school administrators, along with some students joined forces to raise funds during March, which is Red Cross month.
